Drew Peterson received 1st Team All-Conference honors in the PCAC. Drew averaged 10 points per game. What Drew brought to Miramar cannot be measured in numbers; Drew is one of the Jets toughest players. Drew showed every day that he wanted to do whatever was necessary to make not only himself better but the team as well. Drew scored a game High 21 points against Grossmont College, and left his freshman year on two solid performances with 18 points against Mt San Jacinto College and 17 points against Inner-District foe San Diego Mesa College. Drew will be on one of the Jets' Key returners for the 2014-2015 Season.
Shane came to Miramar after transferring from Humboldt State; Shane spent countless hours in the Athletic Training room through his whole career battling injuries. Shane played through his sophomore season with Plantar Fascia in his foot, multiple ankle sprains, and a bone bruise in his knee. Shane managed to play through all of the injuries and not miss a game his Sophomore Year. During the last contest of the year Shane went down with a sprained ankle that left him sidelined in what could be his last game of the year. Shane managed to become 2nd team All-Conference in the PCAC. A sharp shooter from behind the arc, Shane averaged 9.5 Points per game while shooting 42% from beyond the three point line. Shane had a game high of 5 three's against Barstow College. Shane also received PCAC Player of the week Honors.
Cole was Miramar's second leading scorer at 10.1 per contest and led the team in rebounding at 4.8 per game. Cole dislocated his shoulder in the fourth game of the year, as tough as a person can be Cole returned to action two games later. Cole finished in double digit scoring in 14 contests for the Jets. He also had game highs of 9 and 7 assist vs Barstow College and MiraCosta College. Cole received PCAC player of the week, and was named to the PCAC All-Conference Team. Cole is a leave it all on the court guy, his passion and determination for the game of basketball is remarkable.
Jeremiah was Miramar's Leading scorer at 13.8 per contest and second in rebounding at 3.8 per contest. Jeremiah missed 8 games with a foot sprain, despite the setback he managed to receive PCAC player of the week and placed on the PCAC All Conference Honorable Mention team. He scored 32 points against Riverside College and 24 against Cuyamaca College. He finished in double digit scoring in 14 out of 18 contests. Jeremiah is arguably the most athletic player in the Jets' program.
