Jets women's soccer downs Grossmont, earns 5th straight PCAC North championship

With a 4-0 shutout of Grossmont, the Miramar women's soccer locked up its fifth straight Pacific Coast Athletic Conference North division championship.

Taylor Wolever scored twice for the Lady Jets, with Jaki Vasquez and Jade Bugsch also adding goals. Staphanie Carlson saved the two shots on goal the Lady Jets defense allowed, for Miramar's sixth shutout in a row (12th shutout in 2014).

The PCAC title is also the fifth straight for Sean Bowers as Miramar's head soccer coach.
