Jets WSOC edges SD City, 2-1

Miramar's women's soccer team earned a tight 2-1 win, over San Diego City at the Knights' pitch.

Kat McCarthy opened up the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 56th minute. After SDC netted an equalizer in the second half, Maria Mendez netted her own unassisted goal in the 76th minute, to provide a lead the Lady Jets would not surrender.

Goalie Maria Andreyev had six saves in-between the nets for Miramar, as Jets WSOC held the Knights to six shots on goal for the match.
