San Diego Miramar College is located in the community of Mira Mesa, near the geographic center of the county.  Its freeway close location (5 minutes off Interstate 15) allows students to live in a wide variety of locations next to and at a variety of distances to the campus, allowing Miramar students to locate off-campus residences that meet their financial considerations and personal desires.
