Jets Lean on Youthful Energy to Spark a Promising Season
October 31, 2025
The 2025–2026 JETS men's basketball team may be young, but they're already turning heads with their energy, effort, and enthusiasm. With 11 freshmen and two sophomores, this year's roster represents a new era for the program—one built on hard work, coachability, and a hunger to compete.
Head Coach Nicolas Gehler couldn't be more excited about the group's potential. "This is a really fun group to be around," Gehler said. "They're coachable, they work hard, and they want to compete. That's all you can ask for as a coach."
While youth often comes with a learning curve, the Jets are embracing the challenge head-on. The team's practices have been filled with energy and focus, and the players' willingness to learn and grow together has quickly built a strong foundation.
With their enthusiasm, hard work, and competitive nature, the Jets look poised to make this season one to remember. The future is bright—and it's arriving fast—as the next generation of Jets takes flight.
