Bio
Lucy enters her first year as the Head Men’s Swim Coach at San Diego Miramar College in 2026 after serving as the program’s assistant coach in 2025. During the team’s inaugural season, she helped guide the Jets to a 3rd place conference finish. In 2022, Lucy also served as an assistant coach for the Palomar College Men’s and Women’s Swim & Dive programs, helping nine swimmers and two divers advance to the 3C2A State Championships.
 
Lucy brings more than 15 years of competitive aquatics coaching and playing experience to San Diego Miramar College. She is also the Head Women’s Water Polo Coach, where she has led the Jets to two conference championships in three seasons and earned PCAC Coach of the Year honors in both 2023 and 2024. Lucy is excited to continue growing and developing Miramar's aquatics programs ​and establishing them as a competitive presence within the 3C2A. 
 
Lucy earned her Associate’s degree from Palomar College, where she competed in both women’s water polo and swimming. She transferred to California State University, Monterey Bay, earning her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology while continuing her water polo career. She later completed her master’s degree in Physical Education at Azusa Pacific University.
